Ancestral Legacy

In the beginning of the Pekiti-Tirsia history as an institution of family discipline from 1897 to the present 2006, the elements that strengthened the entire system has been maintained as a continuing legacy.

These elements represents the Power of the Doctrine of Discipline that served as the solid impregnable Castle that could never be destroyed from within and from without. The Doctrinal message within the philosophical values that goes into the fiber of each technique carried the language of perfection managed by the articulating logic that moves into high sounding reasons how the accuracy and precision became inseparable during the exchange of glittering blade. The 2006 full contact became the gathering of chosen few Combatants starting with twenty whose combative spirits became a resurrected image of a true warrior. Each one who enters into the ring of fire carries the true emblem of the true ancestral legacy. All that has been taught is put into a test, not to know how much each technique will work but how much each technique is understood as it was effectively utilized against the Spaniards, the Americans, the Japanese in 1942-45.

Pekiti-Tirsia high standard of combative Education relates the Combat standard of Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great. Hannibal and other countless combatants who had utilized the winning strategy of tricks and deception to win the war. But to the modern warfare that employs exploding weapons, the same strategies are still useful more so in the use of impact and edged weaponry.

In the area of strategy and tactics, all categories of combat estimates are present as it was used in the early wars of the Mongols, Crusaders, Templars, Tanganykans and Katipuneros in the Philippine Revolutions. It is now known that those whose practices of the real combatancy is not detach from the past warfare technology. The methodology of offense as the best defense, the secret decisions made at the battle front, were decisions that won the war.

The 2006 test of skill, stamina, endurance and the will power to fight are the same ingredients of the past. For Pekiti-Tirsia Europe to lead the way in reviving the true ancestral legacy made others to follow but to lead is more dignified than to follow.

Let the Master be you, since your are the Master of your soul. When you hold the stick, the knife and fight then you are the master. When you win because you made it win then you are the true legendary Master of the ancient past for the modern times of the living past.
